Can I open a business in Thailand with my retirement visa

Many Retirement visa Holders are wondering whether they can or cannot open a Business in Thailand with their Visas. The answer for this Question is No, You cannot, as the employment and Business Operation in the Kingdom are Prohibited under this visa Type.

In case you are considering to Open a Business or Work in an organization in Thailand, you will need to switch your retirement visa to another Visa Type that is Allowing you to do these Business Activities whule in the Kingdom.

The Visa types That allow you to Work in Thailand or Open a Business are The NON B Visa (it has 3 different Categories with different characteristics and requirements), and the Thailand Elite Visa (Only 1 Program allows you to open Business In Thailand or get a work Permit.
